FAQ
Quick answers to the questions players actually ask. If yours is not here, the Overview and How to Play pages cover the longer stories.
Is it free?
Yes. Lisa Climber is free to play, with no account, no sign-up, and no catch. It is the same deal as every Kluth Studios game.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The game runs entirely in your browser at lisaclimber.kluthstudios.com. Any current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari will do.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The game supports touch as well as keyboard; the attract screen literally says "press any key / tap to play." Climb at a desk or on the couch, whichever suits.
Is my high score saved?
Yes. Scores and progress live in your browser's local storage. That means they come back whenever you return on the same device and browser, but they will not follow you to a different device, and clearing your browser's site data clears them too. There is no account or cloud sync.
Why is it called Summit Smash and not Lisa Climber?
Both names are correct. Lisa Climber is the project's name in the Kluth Studios collection, the name you will see on this site and on the Lisa Climber project page. Summit Smash is the title the game presents itself with when you play. One game, two hats.
Who is Lisa?
The games are made for Lisa. Every project under the Kluth Studios banner is built with her in mind, and this one carries her name right on the label. (Her puzzle game, Lisetris, takes the dedication even further.)
How big is the climb?
Six stages, each built from eight layers of platforms, starting with the icy Frostpeak. The HUD tracks both counts as you go, so you always know how much mountain is left.
I found a bug, or I just want to say hi
Wonderful, either way. Reach Kurt at [email protected] or find him on GitHub.
