Is it free?

Yes. Lisetris is free to play, with no account, no sign-up, and nothing to buy. It is the same deal as every Kluth Studios game.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs entirely in your browser at lisetris.kluthstudios.com. Any current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari will do.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Lisetris supports touch as well as keyboard, so it plays on desktop or mobile. If you are settling in for a serious Classic run, a keyboard's dedicated keys for hold and hard drop are a comfort, but the couch works.

Are my statistics saved?

Yes. Your play history is stored in your browser, so the Statistics page remembers you between sessions on the same device and browser. It will not follow you to a different device, and clearing your browser's site data resets it. There is no account or cloud sync.

Who is Lisa?

Lisa is the person the game is for. Lisetris is Kurt's love letter to her: the name, the dedication ("Lisa, every piece of my life fits better because of you. I made this game with every piece of my heart."), and the Love Story page are all sincere. The puzzle is real, and so is the reason for it.

Can I turn the music off?

Yes. Press M to mute at any time. There is also a Settings page on the main menu for tuning the experience.

Should I start with Classic or Relaxed?

Relaxed, honestly. It is the same well without the mounting speed, which makes it the perfect place to learn the controls and build stacking habits. Move to Classic when you want the score chase; see Tips before you do.

What is the Love Story menu item?

Exactly what it says: part of the game's heart, alongside the Dedication page. Lisetris treats its story as first-class content, so give those menu items a visit; the game is meant to be read as well as played. Gameplay says more about why.
