SkyRoute Infinite Overview

SkyRoute Infinite is an original open-world browser flight simulator built under the Kluth Studios banner, and the tagline is the whole pitch: open-world flight, straight from your browser. No downloads, no DLC, just wings.

Fly it right now at skyroute.kluthstudios.com. It is free, with no install and no account. For the project story, see the Skyroute project page.

note

Skyroute is experimental. It flies, it lands, and it logs your flights, but it is an active experiment. Expect it to keep evolving between visits.

What you actually do

Every session starts on the flight setup screen and ends, ideally, on a runway. You choose:

  • An aircraft. Either the forgiving SL-9 Skylark piston trainer or the fast, slippery SwiftJet 100 regional twin-jet.
  • A region. Four of them, from green coastline to serious mountains to island strips barely long enough for the brave.
  • A route. Each region is an airport pair, and you pick which direction to fly.
  • Weather. Eight options, from Clear all the way up to Stormy and Crosswind.
  • Time of day. Day, Sunset, or Night.
  • A realism level. Arcade, Assisted, Realistic, or Custom, so the same route can be a joyride or a checkride.

Then you take off, fly the route to the destination airport, and land as gently as you can manage. The smoother the touchdown, the better the score.

The logbook

Every flight you complete goes into your logbook, kept right in your browser. It is the quiet motivator of the whole game: once a route is in the book, the next question is always "fine, but can I fly it at night, in a crosswind, on Realistic?"

What you need

  • A current browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari).
  • A keyboard, strongly recommended. The game is playable on mobile, but flying is a two-hands-on-the-keys experience: pitch and roll on the arrow keys, throttle on W and S, and a row of system keys for flaps, gear, and autopilot.

There is no download and nothing to install. It is a browser game in the fullest sense. Close the tab mid-flight and the only casualty is your landing score.

Where to go next

  • How to Play walks through the setup screen and your first takeoff and landing.
  • Aircraft and Regions covers what to fly and where.
  • Controls is the full keyboard reference.
  • Autopilot lets the machine hold the boring parts.
  • Tips collects advice earned the hard way.
  • FAQ and Changelog hold quick answers and the paper trail.
